Onlyの使い方いろいろ

onlyという単語、置く場所によって文章の意味がいろいろ変わってしまいます。

ベースの文章を同じものにしてメモメモ。

(1) I, only, can solve the problem. = I am the only person who can solve it.

(2) I can only solve the problem. = The only thing I can do is solve the problem. I can do nothing else.

(3) I can solve only the problem. = The only thing I can solve is the problem. I can do other things, but not solve any other thing.

(4) I can solve the problem only. = The only thing I can solve is the problem. I can do other things, but not solve any other thing.
